About Me

Dominick JohnIf you clicked on this page, I’m assuming you’re interested in the crazed guy posting all these articles (or maybe you just want to see if he fell out of the ugly tree ;) ).

My name’s Dominick and I’m really not-so-great at writing self-biographies or describing myself, because it’s more like I have to let my work speak for what it is.

Lots of people want to know if I have any credentials, and what exactly justifies me to write about the things I do. Well, the short version is I’m just a hardcore inquisitive guy in his twenties… possibly with too much time on his hands, who reads every little out-there book, article, and website I can get my hands or mouse on.

I’m obsessed with bettering myself and helping others around me do the same. I’m sucker for anything mysterious, growth-oriented, or has the possibility of instilling one of those giant ‘ah-ha!’ moments.

No, I don’t have any official piece of paper that says to blindly trust me (nor should you anyway). Even though it doesn’t take any magical degree, certification, or ‘PhD’ to help someone become aware their dreams or the thoughts they think, I understand how the majority of this world wants these titles to make them feel at ease. With that said, all I can account for is my life experience and my own unique way I observe the world.

I’ve been a writer and filmmaker since 10 years old. I’m a passionate musician, composer, and singer in the middle of releasing my third album. I spend lots of time meditating, researching, lucid dreaming, blogging, and sitting up late nights like a mad scientist trying to figure out little unknown patterns of life. Oh, and for some reason I also like fruit. :)

I’m a long-time believer of our thoughts being unknowingly connected to our external world. Maybe it’s the Law of Attraction, a simple psychology, some obscure quantum principle, or maybe just plain common sense. Either way, I’m on a mission to figure out just what the hell it is, find out how it works, what we can do with it, and tell everyone that wants to know!

And that’s about it really. I’m a deep thinker who needs a place to vent and remember… and if it happens to help or entertain others in the process, that’s reason enough for me to keep on doing it. :)
